She had to see him.
It tore her up, defying her own father figure like this. Something Liechtenstein never thought she would ever do. Austria would be awfully mad at her if he found out, wouldn't he? Would he even notice she was gone and on her way to see the one man who gave him more grief than anyone else she knew -
She brushed those thoughts away. Surely he wouldn't notice her missing. She definitely wasn't the loudest of the bunch, and her general presence was certainly lacking. Austria would pay no mind, and Liechtenstein would be back before anyone would realize the tiny little principality was nowhere to be seen.
"G-Gilbert," she breathed out, her voice a whisper as she came across the man she had been looking for.
"Gilbert." Her voice boomed louder this time, albeit still soft. "Y-you're here."
