i've re-rendered the Barns from cruising altitude, since i initially only figured out floorplanner enough to capture one floor at a time, which gave the impression of a midcentury modern place. she's a greened-over farmhouse, baby, with some interior walls knocked out for light and the south end expanded. feat: Ronan's punching bag, the closest thing to the Oletha available on floorplanner.com, an outdoor shower, the half-assed garden beds, and a porch swing.

It's been so fun to see you develop 19a so much, I remember being excited when I saw 18a was getting a tiny add on and now you've created such an interesting universe! I also think the vibes of the whole project have really been carried by your incredible writing style and choice of words, I feel like I'm discovering new ways to describe things every time I read your work.

Yes; yeah, Ronan’ll be on the flight. It was good to say that to Blue. Adam puts his head down and knocks through a nice chunk of his journal backlog before his boarding group is up. He scans the cabin as he heads to 19A—no joy—but when he’s loading his bag into the overhead, the guy asleep on his tray table in 18A has thick black feathers and runes vining the dimpled crescent of lower back visible between his sweats and his jacket. Tattoo goes pretty far, then. Adam looks his fill before sitting down. He’s pleased, his carryall sliding neatly beneath the seat in front. Ronan’s seat, Ronan ahead of him, face pressed into the crook of his arms. It was like this the first time he picked up a scalpel, the first time he met Blue. Every now and then it’s like this, in his life: something fits in his hand precisely; some tug behind the eyes pulls him to the door where he’ll find a book or a ticket or a job he needs; a certain brightness hangs around people who will be useful, or beloved. He’s getting faster at allowing it.

this was a bit for @or-dhuilleag and @flightspathfic that got real out of hand, and they stuck with me all the way the fuck through it, and now i'm sobbing again on a goddamn thursday. @garagepaperback arrived in my life halfway through and made everything more connected and beautiful; @whatimages held the line for deviance.
