1984 voltron is SomETHIng ELse
Umm...so I started watching random episodes of the 1984 Voltron: Defender of the Universe and...umm...why isn’t anyone talking about how Princess Allura’s character design is just a cheap knockoff of Princess Aurora from Disney’s Sleeping Beauty?
And since I’m not too sure about the original story line of the ‘84 one but in the new Netflix show Voltron: Legendary Defender, Allura and Coran were asleep in their pods for 10,000 years?
Their NAMES are even similar. Allura. Aurora. Wtf.
1984 Voltron vs. Voltron Legendary Defender
the lighting doesn’t make sense
there’s shadows on one side of lotor’s face but then there’s also light appearing from that side too?
... does 1984 lotor have a thing for allura???
My thoughts on the 1984 Voltron, Episode 1 on Netflix
-Coran looks like he belongs on the Little House on the Prairie -Allura looks like Princess Peach but tbh I like that she was a paladin -Pidge's voice -Hunk sounds like he is going to beat up someone -lance and Keith are really the least cringe worthy??? -the yelling -Pidge's yelling -the ANIMATION -no voltron???? -lotor needs a life, but tbh I like how they wrote him in a way at first I thought "he just genuinely loves and cares for her his father is just being a bad influence" But then as I'm the show progressed I was like "yeah no he's unhealthy and obsessed with her" -overdramatic scenes -80s Overall this is just entertaining if anything
taMMY.
Voltron's most caring mother
