I’m currently discovering the 99ers, I’m reading and watching games and videos about them, and I’m totally falling in love with these 3. They have played, fought, lived together for years, they basically built the ground on which the USWNT stood and is still standing today, they really defined what that team means. But more than anything ... they can’t go ANYWHERE together!!! When they’re together, they still are three twenty-something gals who joke around, mess with each other and just laugh! Julie Foudy is out of her mind and it kills me how Mia Hamm seems so shy and private but with Julie she laughs so much she cries! And Brandi blasts both of them! Julie always says that they all are “stuck with her for life” and when I see them like this after almost 30 years, I realize she meant it! I love to think that maybe Tobin, Chris and Pinoe will still be so close in 30 years!
