Do you have any writing tips?

I guess my biggest tip would be to just keep writing. Everyone has to start somewhere, and there are definitely ups and downs of writing, just like with everything else, but push through and just keep writing and trying!

Also, for me, if I'm having trouble or am stuck on something, I really like to handwrite things. I have a special notebook and I'll sit outside in the sun with my music and just focus on the words and not worry about the flow or how it sounds or anything. Just writing each letter, each word. I feel like handwriting seems so much more personal sometimes, it really helps me to think about and connect with my writing.
