Two of us run this blog so two answers for the price of one for most of this with a couple of team answers!
1. How did you discover 1d? Our discovery of 1D started because I (the one who loves Louis) happened to watch the ‘CrazyAbout One Direction’ documentary and think the entire thing seemed a bit weirdso being curious off I went to investigate. Hours on youtube later and I’d welland truly started the descent in to the madness. Desperate to head to the cinema and see This Is Us I not so subtly hinted at the BFF until she agreed to come with me. Hilariously, we were the only two people in the cinema but the BFF’s parting words were “I’m off to youtube the shit out of them” so a job well done really. We properly fell in to the vortex together, both unemployed and with too much time on our hands it was never going to be a good combination. It only got worse when we both found jobs and now have to disposable income to fund 1D shenanigans…
2. Favorite boy? Harry girl forever and always. You don't pick your fave, your fave picks you.
Louis Louis Louis. I adore the other four but it was always Louis and it will always be Louis.
3. Favorite ot5 moment? How are you even meant to pick?!? Ot5, ride or die! But actually all of the This Is Us interviews were golden.
Ohhhh this is so hard! Any time they're all allowed in an interview together and it descends in to absolute chaos is wonderful but probably their trip to Christ the Redeemer last year, we hadn't seen OT5 out together in so long!
4. Favorite tattoo on one of the boys? I adore Harry's ship, such good art (and also yknow, goes with a certain compass)
I don't know what it is about 'It Is What It Is' but it makes me drool whenever I spy it peaking out of a tshirt!
5. Favorite album as a whole? Had to be FOUR for me, but MM has some absolute crackers ... And TMH too ... Hmmm tricky but sticking with FOUR.
Ohhh this is also so difficult. I love FOUR, I love TMH but I reckon for now MM is just swinging it for me...but that's swayed by having seen most of it live, might change if we get to see most of FOUR live!
6. Favorite lyric? "I can count on you after all we got up to..." We've adopted this as our official anthem!
Echoing the BFF, "I won't act my age". It is officially our friendship theme song. Bonus points to "And if he feels my traces in your hair, I'm sorry love but I don't really care" because we read that before we'd heard Happily and placed bets on Louis singing that line. And then watching Harry re-enact it on stage made it even better!
7. Favorite music video? I actually love LWWY ... OT5 at it's finest in my opinion!
Going to agree with LWWY, my favourite type of One Direction is the running around causing chaos with props type.
8. Favorite outfit on one of the boys? Harry makes me drool in most things, but him in that sheer black shirt has to be up there!
This is also extremely difficult. But, Louis in the red scoop neck t-shirt in one of the This Is Us press conferences and the Macys Perfume advert. Drooooool.
9. Fetus 1d or 2015 1d? Both os us 100% agree, 2015 1D. It's nice to look back on fetus 1D but they're just so gorgeous now it has to be 2015.
10. Favorite Liam moment? Not a moment necessarily but his snake habitat tweet will never not make me laugh.
Surfing Liam. Dios mio.
11. Favorite 1d sibling? Ermm Gemma maybe? Just cos her relationship with Harry seems really like me and my brother.
Dunno, I don't pay too much attention to the siblings...Ernest and Doris because they're cute maybe.
12. Favorite performance? WDBHG on X Factor, they smashed it! Or Through The Dark on SNL .. Forever bitter that wasn't a single!
Agreeing on WDBHG on X Factor. Must have watched it about 27 times that evening alone, they were so so so so good!
13. How 1d af are you? I don't remember life before and don't want to contemplate life after ...
Elaborating on the BFF's answer, after we fell in to the fandom in 2013 we were in time to buy tickets for the added Wembley date in September 2014. We then booked a trip to Madrid to see them. Then we got drunk at lunch and booked a trip to Paris to see them. Then we went to the Friday Wembley show, came out and bought tickets to the Saturday one. Then we went to the BBC Music Awards mainly for them. This year we'll be going to the O2 twice, Birmingham and Helsinki and we're plotting to go to Cardiff too...Now this all sounds relatively 'normal' for the insanity that is the 1D fandom but when you factor in that we're 25 and having to come up with increasingly inventive ways to lie to our friends/family etc about where we're going and what we're up to because actually know one knows about our secret double lives being 1DAF you realise quite how 1DAF we are...
14. Favorite fan art? cyrilliart cartoons!!! We're both proud owners of the Where's Zayn calendar and we both absolutely love it!
15. Favorite otp(s)? LARRY. I mean come on, look at the blog.
16. Favorite Niall moment? Any time he cackles!
Whenever he takes an OT5 selfie. You just know you can always rely on Niall.
17. Least favorite song(s)? Not a massive fan of illusion.
Some of the ones I've long forgotten about on UAN.
18. Favorite Zayn moment? You can't pick one moment! Zayn is a demigod and his mere presence is perfection. Having said that I am loving how 2015 has gone for him so far!
Zayn is just too much. Too much. How does he just get more and more attractive. Definitely a demigod. That being said, will I ever be over WWA wet Zayn who just looked like he was in a high budget perfume advert? It's incredibly unlikely.
19. Do you own a 1d doll? Not yet ....
No. And do you know what, I'm very surprised neither of us do.
20. Have you ever met the boys?
We’ve never met the boys but we have dedicated a lot of time to discussing what we think would happen if we did. We’re fairly certain we’d probably be mid causing a scene (we have a tendency to do so, unintentionally) and just be completely obnoxious. Obnoxious scenarios range from being dressed head to toe in merch and claiming not to know who they are to listing tattoos at them and asking if they saw any correlation amongst them.
