Let's start by meeting the Me's. I picture them as characters from different things I like, although it's mostly just a look and not the character themselves.

1st Me: Myrtle

Myrtle is like a shield or shell. Sometimes I picture her as a forcefield surrounding my head. She gets to decide what goes in and what comes out. She's strong, so I'm an introvert. Sometimes I stay silent when I want to speak, because Myrtle won't let me. And Myrtle is the reason why sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me.

2nd, 3rd and 4th Me's: Past, Present and Future

These guys aren't usually super coherent, just memories and emotions. Past reminds me why something might be a good or bad idea, Present only worries about what it wants right now, and future worries...a lot. Every once in a while they say something seriously but usually, like these heads, they just bounce around chaotically and make decisions difficult.

5th Me: Just Me

This Me is...just me. The me that was born and is made up of my experiences in this life. I don't really visualize what I look like, but I do visualize myself inside my head talking to the different Me's sometimes.

6th Me: Nagi

If the 5th Me is just me, then the 6th Me is the eternal me, the soul. Or maybe my subconscious, or instincts, or sixth sense. The Me that knows far more than I can ever actually know but is there behind the scenes advising me all the time.

7th and 8th Me's: Faith and Hope

Twins, they look identical except they usually appear in different glowing pastel shades. Usually blue and yellow. They're almost always together and don't speak much, they're just always there.

9th Me: Kathryn

Kathryn is temptation, or something along those lines. It's hard to categorize her. She's not evil, just opposite. She usually disagrees with Nagi but they're not enemies.

10th and 11th Me's: ???

I'm pretty sure there are two more. One might be Dream, but something about the nature of these last two makes them hard to identify, the same way that dreams slip through your memory no matter how hard you try to hold on to them. I knew them once, for a moment, and then I knew 11 was the perfect number, not 9, but then I lost them again. I'm sure they'll show up someday when the time is right.
