1nDun Golf: Memorial Round 1

There weren't a ton of surprises on Thursday at Murfield Village in the first round of Jack's Tourney.  Dustin Johnson (30 pt cost / 49 pts earned) is leading and Hunter Mahan (5 pt cost / 9 pts earned) is bringing up the rear.

If you were savvy you picked Kevin Streelman (5 pt cost / 38 pts earned) or Danny Lee (10 pt cost / 44 pts earned), but the stress of Friday's cuts looms for virtually every 1nDun player.

As always, the tee sheet flips on Friday - groups who teed off in the morning on Thursday will go out in the afternoon on Friday (in presumably tougher conditions).  If the field holds, the Cut would be be at 1-under par - splitting the 120 golfers in half.

1NDUN Golf: Update Through Round 1

Lori is in the lead for now, but Friday is the day when the real action takes place.  The cut will happen and some of the teams you see will be out of contention.

Martin Kaymer(15) shot an impressive 65 (-5) on a tamed Pinehurst No. 2 course that most golfers had issues with.  35 golfers were at even par or better on Thursday - odds are it will be the easiest setup of a golf course that can produce some high scores and break the wills of competitors.

An interesting story at the top of the leader board is Kevin Na(30) who qualified for the Open on Monday and sits in 4 way tie for second place at 2-under par.
