well i mean not to be rude but it was probably your fault. if it was untamed you have to tame them first and go very very slowly to gain their trust and you also have to handle them properly (open palm, scooping method to pick them up, etc). every time i've been bit it's been my fault so please look at your behavior and/or ignorance in handling/care before blaming the animal <333
