12. a trope you’re really into right now

hmmm I don't really write for tropes specifically but i do really love a "will they, won't they" type relationship development that goes on forever and everyone else can see what's happening but both of them are kind of oblivious to the other. which i think is a trope. or at the least very common among romances 😂

29. how easy is it for you to come up with titles?

not easy at all!! must a fic have a title?? is it not enough to yearn for 1.5k+ words??? lately i've been turning to song lyrics or adapting lines from poems, or sometimes i just go to thesaurus dot com and poke around until i find a word that feels succinct and thematic. i always save it for last because it's the worst part to me lol

cori and shtola! this is their rodeo au house (aka the horse expansion world). shtola is a freelance writer bc it was the closest i could get to scientist that wasn't astronaut. she is on the computer always and is like a level 8 gamer. cori is unemployed bc they have to spend all their time with the horses

peppercorn (the black chocobo from haurche) if she were a horse. i didn't know when i bought her that i could make customizable ones and if i did she would look different and have a v different personality (she's mean! peppercorn the choco is so sweet! but im kinda obsessed with her now.)

cilantro (cori's pink choco from her gc. not pink bc i wanted it to be realistic) i just made him yesterday in the hopes that pepper will be less demanding with him around

4. how easy is it to earn their trust?

kiku: very easy! much to naomi’s chagrin hfjdhf anyone who's friendly/nice to kiku automatically gets his trust. it definitely backfires on him more than not.

kou: it's a little harder to earn kou’s trust since he's somewhat reserved and doesn't really venture outside of a very small friend group. he's friendly enough with others but not exactly friends with them and he gives his trust to a select few.

15. how do they speak? is what they say usually thought of on the spot, or do they rehearse it in their mind first?

kiku: he tries to rehearse what he wants to say before he says it but then at the moment he panics and says whatever is on his mind hfjdhfh but whatever comes out of his mouth is usually a mix of what he thinks the other person wants to hear mixed in with a raw kernel of genuineness. kou can hear that spark when he speaks and always tries to draw it out further.

kou: he's very eloquent! he just knows how to talk to people so he doesn't rehearse anything. kiku thinks it's very dreamy 💭💕 kou talks quietly and serenely and with the air of someone who has something deeper on their minds but which rarely comes to a surface, it's just caught in glimmers when he speaks

omg please hgjshfhf at this point the canon universe is just a springboard for me to dive into other aus like the vampire au and the modern au. i've written so much more of them in the aus than i have in the canon universe. but the canon world will always be so nostalgic and special for me since it's where they originated :')
