Tbh I think Alphinaud’s voice is whatever it’s corny and all but it suited his personality at the time. but Alisaie’s feels like a crime. Why did she keep saying grandfather like that. please let her sound actually angry

I think hers pisses me off bc it’s so obvious that she was “Alphinaud but girl and emotional” like her early speech patterns being so similar to his, which is tolerable in itself, like whatever a lot of her character was still there even if she talked more like him. but that WITH her line delivery as nothing more than her being a mildly upset delicate sounding little girl and it’s just so eughhhh. there's no strength no power no intensity. it's like she's trying to be graceful and small even when she's furious or heartbroken and that's just not it for her. Like she’s literally so angry and wants vengeance and is full of passion... Thank god her character was distanced some more from him as a whole later on but it is crazy how much her voice impacts how you can perceive her. oof
