I hope that lots of people could keep the joyful memories of the live, but it’s fine if only one individual does.
Q: Firstly, could you introduce to us Kunikida Hanamaru? What kind of child is she?
King: The Hanamaru-chan that I play as is a first year student who really loves reading. She is a cute girl who likes singing, and she loves eating just like me (laughs).
Q: Taking the role of a character like Hanamaru, were there any particular scenes that left especially strong impressions during the recording for the TV anime?
King: If it is for Hanamaru-chan, as expected it would be the scene in Episode 4 when she joined Aqours. In that episode, I understood: “Till that point, her friends understood that Hanamaru-chan had been an existence that had always been quietly pushing them forward from behind”. With the help of her friends, Hanamaru herself was able to discover her own breakthrough… be it for myself, or for Hanamaru-chan, from then on the work became filled with colors. As for other scenes, there was one in Episode 5 where they depicted a really serious side of her, which showed her giving her childhood friend Yoshiko-chan the courage to step forward…. Uhm, there’s too many to say ! (laughs)
Q: During the release of the TV anime, the songs for everyone had increased tremendously. After this, the preparation for the 1st Live was ongoing too right?
King: That’s right. That’s the most challenging thing! Actually we did go for a training camp last summer (2016), but to grasp the dance steps for 6 songs within 3 days….
Q: Isn’t that very impressive…?!
King: As I was new to dancing, I was struggling to death but I took notes along the way (laughs). For me, I keep being unable to grasp the timing where I would need to wink off stage during the time of the segment for the musical (The performance before “MIRAI TICKET” that was based on Episode 13 of the TV Anime).
Q: Why are you still fixated on that even now?
King: As I stood in that place as “Kunikida Hanamaru”. Hanamaru and I have a large difference when it comes to appearance, so I was very uneasy about whether everyone would and treating me as “Hanamaru-chan”? But, if I work hard, everyone would be able to acknowledge that I was in the image of Hanamaru-chan while viewing this live… and today, long after those two days are over, when I look back at how I was like at that time, I would be confident that: “That was indeed Kunikida Hanamaru”.
Q: To be able to embrace such emotions on stage, I am sure there would be other feelings too, right?
King: That is true. I was especially happy when I was riding on the flower carts. As I was able to clearly see the smiles on everyone’s face, and to be able to meet their gaze one by one. Especially when it came to the song “Yume Kataru yori Yume Utaou” where it doesn’t have any dance moves. It carried with it the thought of: “Having as much fun as you can with everyone!”, I wanted to look for those who were cheering for Hanamaru, to wave at the individuals who were cheering with the Hanamaru call sign. In the life of the fans there would be the memories of: “She made eye contact with me.” “She was waving at me.” right? Just because I was able to gain such a wonderful experience on the venue, I hope that many more people were able to carry with them lots and lots more of those memories, even if it might only be one individual, I went “I see you----!” many times.
Q: And, you will have to welcome the 2nd Live at Summer with the courage that you had received previously, right?
King: Indeed! Following the growth of Aqours, the chances of going up on many different stages would increase. I do not know what would happen from now on, so with this as a first step, with the second live I would be able to experience various things like the many differences of the various location , I would like to learn a greater number of things!
Takatsuki Kanako/Born on 25th September. As someone who was born in the Kansai Region, the Kobe stop during the 2nd Live Tour would be a triumphant homecoming. With the World Memorial Hall as a stage, it carries traces of the many times where she had headed there to watch lives.

I remember it all clearly.
The scenery I saw that day, the voices and sounds I heard. Every time it comes to mind, I'll always end up grinning broadly (laughs)
In order for everyone to love Love Live! Sunshine!! and Aqours more, we will focus on our charm and assets, and use them to fulfill my strong desire to pursue sights that we’ve never seen before with all we have.
Next up is our Next Step! Project, so please wait and look forward to it!

The 1st Live has ended. Before the 1st Live, we were worried about whether or not we could really do it, but I was able to get self-confidence after realizing that the 9 of us were able to hold such a big performance. It was truly a fun time, and it also became 2 days that had deep, unforgettable memories. That wonderful sea of light still comes to mind whenever I close my eyes. For the sake of everyone creating more and more wonderful sights, I want to advance forward and give it my all!! Please take good care of me from now on ♪

That time period was truly, truly a dreamlike two days. I was really nervous prior to standing on stage, but it was all blown away once it started, and I sang with enjoyment from my heart because of everyone’s warm support and smiles. Love Live! is not something that was just made by us, but I actually felt once again that we were only able to complete it because of everyone who cheered us on there. For the sake of taking another step forward from here, I want to completely have fun while trying our best as Aqours.

Alright! The two days of Aqours 1st Live successfully finished~. The first thing I will say is that it was fun! It was noisy! I ran! I did my best! Yeah! (laughs) Ever since the live ended, whenever I remember the venue wrapped up in lots of light, somehow tears well up in my eyes. I’m so happy that I passed those two days with everyone that my heart hurts. Really, thank you very much for making those wonderful two days with me. I hope that you will look over us with warm eyes from now on.

Really, thank you very much for Love Live! Sunshine!! Aqours First LoveLive! ~Step! ZERO to ONE~! Did everyone turn into Yohane’s little demon and descend to the very depths of hell…? (^o^)
Once again, those two days at Yokohama Arena, our big dream stage, as Aqours, where everyone stood with Yohane… When I think about that, even though I’m still in a trance, I’m certain that we took a large step forward that day. The moment where we took a step from 0 to 1 together with everyone who called out “10!” is one that I will definitely not forget!!
“Shining is fun!” We put our all and had fun, and we shined! Thank you to everyone who shined together with us too!!
From now on, Aqours will step forward and face our Next Step! For the sake of making lots of dreams come true, we will embark on an adventure! And that is an exciting feeling! I would be really happy if you followed Aqours from now on!
And then Season 2 of the anime was also decided on, so we can once again see Aqours’ story, and as Yohane’s little demon, I have no choice but to have fun!
I will do my best together with everyone from Aqours from now on, and I want to shine wonderfully with everyone! I will be in your care.

Aqours 1st Live. My honest impression is that it was the greatest fun ever!! Thinking about it, I wonder if it was the greatest we’ve ever shined…?
Ever since Aqours was formed, we’ve been determined to try our best for the sake of grasping “1” in this live.
And then Next Step! Project was starting right after. I have no choice but to enjoy creating the next story with Hanamaru-chan without any rest!
Let’s go and create it with everyone.

It was a fun time, a really fun time, and I honestly felt like it was just an instant. At the place that we looked up to, as our beloved Love Live!, I was able to experience something that made me excited and my heart beat wildly, and I don’t know why. Being able to see that unforgettable sight is nothing less than a miracle. I have lots of thanks towards Mari for giving me lots of important things, and from now on I want to take her hand, and as 9 of us in Aqours together with everyone, and see that wonderful sight again…
And then I want to turn it all into smiles!!!!

I remember being nervous right until it started, but once I stood in front of everyone, the nervousness mysteriously disappeared. Being within that shining light almost felt as though we were in the anime. The night sky of CYaRon!’s Stage was so beautiful I almost cried, and seeing the stadium lit in our three colors truly had me at the peak of emotion. Really, that sense of oneness with everyone never fails to surprise me time after time. At the end of last year I conveyed my feelings of wanting to stand on stage as Kurosawa Ruby to everyone, and I felt that everyone received those feelings and pushed me onwards. I once again felt that I really loved everyone. From here on out, I want to do my Rubesty even more with both Ruby and everyone in Aqours! I'll continue showing everyone more surprises. Please follow along!!
