In Serbia, where most of our guides originate from, as well as in other Slavic countries, it is a custom to pour water behind someone undertaking an important task. If you are taking an entrance exam for a university, or an academy; if you are taking a driving license test, or a university exam, your mum or grandmother would pour a cup of water behind you, so that your demanding task would go easy as water. After the previous year being as it was, we need all the good luck we can invoke, so we are sharing a photo of a unique fountain of Saint Sulpice, also known as fontaine de quatre points cardinaux.
