Congrats to @daroknarb for getting his #3rdstripe on his #bjjpurplebelt . Since my hips have given out, and I await surgery he’s been an amazing asset to the #ontariotopteamfamily and #ontariotopteambrazilianjiujitsuandmuaythai . With an eye for detail he’s been putting in extra hours after class with anyone that needs the extra pointers or just one more roll. He’s my longtime training brother, friend and brother from another mother. Congrats to @whaatdoesthefoxsay for pushing the Competition team, putting in the rolls and initiating a lot of drilling and specific scrimmage training. He inspires as he aspires to attain some gold in January. He earned his #1ststripe on his #bjjbluebelt . Honourable mentions go out to @joshuagrn for putting in the hours with the team. His #guardpassing is getting super 🔥👊🔥🔥🔥. @dakstaats is also pushing hard, even after 12 hour shifts and 2 hour drives to get onto the mats .That kind of effort is true character. He lived at my house and it was amazing to watch him mature from a teenager to a man. This past weekend I awarded him his first stripe. More than any tournament he won I’m most proud of the person he has become. He is a good teacher but more importantly an amazing person.
