So someone who doesn't want to be named asked me today if it's ok to write a story in a similar plotline of mine because my story inspired them.

And because this is important to me I wanna state it loud and clear:

YES. ALWAYS.

I don't know where this idea is coming from that you're supposed to have a monopol on storytelling of one specific idea. ESPECIALLY if the idea is writing a classic trope that has ALREADY BEEN WRITTEN A THOUSAND TIMES. We're writing FANFICTION, people. The BEAUTY of this genre is re-telling something we love over and over. So yes please do and please tag me/let me know of it so I can read it. There is no greater compliment than having inspired more cakes. Because I love these cakes, ok? That's why I'm writing them, too! Let there be more!
