So I'm making beef stew, and the recipe calls for three large potatoes.

And, I mean, i use slightly less meat and cut out the onions and celery

but

in what world is that enough potatoes?

I am pretty sure I used at least ten medium potatoes. I finished off out open ten-pound bag. It was like 2/3 done, but . . . potatoes, man. Stew should have lots of potatoes.
