it didn’t matter what the others told her about arlo; how he could never cheat, how he only took the shot in solidarity, or how he needed time to get his mind straight. it didn’t matter because the pair had made an agreement to communicate and be honest with one another. they had only been together for a week and he had already broken their promise. after the whole debacle, shanley expected an apology and an explanation. but he went the whole weekend avoiding her, never giving her an apology or explanation. she was hurt, trying her best not to walk out and find him. honestly, she didn’t even have the strength to leave her room till she got the text and the next thing she knew, she was walking through the hospital doors. sirena is with someone right now, the nurse informs her and directs her to the waiting room. immediately, she sees his face. her heart sinks. if things were okay between them, she would have been happy to see them right now. but things weren’t okay and all she could feel was dread. she sighs, taking an empty seat, facing him, on the opposite side of the room. // ( ft. @arlocedwards )
