Joining everyone else in adoring the use of “newspaper articles” to convey the public opinion regarding JVJs arrest, and to explain how he has access to money in the future. The description of Montreuil-sur-Mer’s lost prosperity harkened back to “In the Year 1817″, with human events not necessarilybeing historical events. Also, for all his talk of great men being Not A Thing, the penultimate paragraph there argues rather the opposite (and, it seems, strongly advocates for benevolent monopolies...)
