Some people took videos from the audience of the Attack on Titan musical an put them on Twitter. I think it's interesting that they opted for putting the surtitles on either side of the stage instead of above. I wonder how they decided on that -- limitations of the venue, I presume, but I believe they also put subtitles for films at the side of the screen for deaf and hard-of-hearing folks in Japan, so that could also have something to do with it. I figured for opera (at least around here) they put them above the stage, though I haven't been to one before (that changes tomorrow, coincidentally), so that's what I would have expected.

Also I'm pretty sure the 2.5D audience in Japan would NEVER record videos of a performance, but I know it's not unheard of for people to do that in New York and elsewhere (either audio or video) so I guess it's not so surprising. I remember there were lots of videos of the songs in the Death Note musical after the performance in the UK.

The Collection Purge Continues…

Good lord, this has been An Experience™ @_@

With my offspring finally back in school, I've been able to get back to focus on sorting things and I still have a lot of 2.5D stage and anime related items that I'm hoping to find new homes for.

I've rearranged my Google Drive albums sorting items into types so that it might be a bit easier for me to explain costs and whatnot, but feel free to ask for clarification on anything. Going to include some collage images in this post to help provide further examples of some of the items I have and their prices, but with the 10 image limit I won't be able to fit everything.

Couple of things to note:

All items are in used but good condition

Prices are in USD

I am open to reasonable best offers

DVDs, Blu-rays, books, manga, audio CDs are all going to be in Japanese unless otherwise stated

Shipping is not included and will be calculated on a case-by-case basis

Overseas shipping is available but it is expensive coming from the United States depending on weight so please keep that in mind

UK/EU folks will need to assist me in figuring out the right tax codes for the new VAT requirements that recently started

Payment will be handled through PayPal

Bromides… I have sooooo many bromides. Stand L (3.5x5”) size bromides are $1 a piece. 2L (5x7”) size bromides are $3 and A4 (8.25x11.75”) size bromides are $5. Check out all my available bromides here

Manda’s Great Spring Purge

Okay, if you follow me on Twitter you’ve probably seen me posting about how I’m going through my collection of 2.5D and other stage related items, as well as other anime/game related merch in an effort to get my house under better control. Things have been tight lately and if I can find many of these items new homes where they’ll be appreciated and loved.

I’ve been gathering together images of the items for sale on my Google Drive because it’s... it’s a lot and this is by far the easiest way I’ve found to keep track of what’s what. The only downside is I’m limited to what info I can post, so the process thus far has been like this:

Browse through the images

Contact me either via DM or email with the items you’re interested in

I will go through your selections and put together an itemized estimated price list and send it to you

If all is agreeable then we will proceed with payment and shipping logistics

In the event that you do not find my prices agreeable, you are welcome to negotiate/haggle till we can find an agreeable amount that is fair to both of us.

There are just a couple of things I would like to note:

Shipping is not included in the individual item pricing but I will provide an estimate

I am more than willing to ship internationally (I am based in the United States)

All payments are to be carried out through PayPal

Everything is first come first serve and I will not be holding anything

Payment will be due in full before any items are sent out

I typically use USPS or UPS, but have had a couple issues with USPS not updating their tracking correctly, so please keep that in mind

Manda’s Great Purge - Part Deux

Wow, love how I can’t edit posts I make on the mobile app on the desktop site... how long has that been a thing? o_O

Anyway, I decided to just remake this post so that I can do better about making this less of a giant wall of text to read. That being said, I am selling a lot of things from my 2.5D stage, butai, anime, game-related collection and I’ve avoided mentioning this, but I’m urgently trying to cover some unexpected costs that have arisen, so any and all signal boosts would be profoundly appreciated.

Everything I have available can be seen on my Google Drive HERE because there are quite a lot of items and this has by far been the easiest way for me to keep track of everything.
