I couldn’t help it. I can’t stop it. I don’t know what to do.

Sarah tries to meet up with Angie by way of Sean. Shopping in Hotten, Angie and Ollie run into Richie who is house hunting since ‘things are a bit cramped’ on the farm (doesn’t take much to put two and two together). In the pub, a relieved Sarah comes clean to Angie. Angie advices Sarah to end it with Richie (‘it’s all very well disappearing into fantasyland’) - is it worth losing her kids and marriage to someone less than half her age?

Sarah: I was scared. I couldn’t stop myself. I wasn’t expecting it… it just happened. We get on so well. I suppose I was flattered at first but… but now it’s become something a lot more than just sex.

Angie: Yeah?

Sarah: It’s such a relief to talk about it. You won’t tell anyone, will you Angie?

Angie: Haven’t got anything to do with me, Sarah.
