Some Rik inspired looks and outfits: a thread
Firstly we have this look taken from the Peoples Poet, Rick Pratt from The Young Ones (1982)
as a fellow poet myself, I find his combination of punk badges, mod blazers and a berret to be very groovy and iconic.
I also have these amazing boots from M&S
inspired by: Kevin Turvey(1981)
I've had this hoodie for a while now but it wasn't until recently that I realized it reminded me of Kevin's anorak.
I once tried to recreate the e-boy look that he had in the PSA Out of My Head (1995)
but my laptop camera didn't agree with the idea.
This smashing pink blouse inspired by Alan B'stard from The New Statesman (1987)
There was also the time one of Face Swap's filters made a picture from last year look like Alan
The floral shirt taken from (the 2000s)
The floral shirt taken from (the 2000s) (I bought this last year, mainly because it reminded me of floral shirts that he had on in the 2000s)
My leather jacket and band merch inspired by Colin Grigson (Bad News: but without his makeup)
Colin has two looks, the one without makeup and the one where his hair is long and curly with Kiss esque makeup and face paint, this is taken mostly from pre-makeup Colin.
The plaid is a general look for me, I like the pattern it also happens to fit with a Calavera hat inspired by: this 1991 picture
This denim shirt inspired by the jackets he had
Some of the pictures of me are from a few years ago, except the photos of the denim shirt and boots which are from this year.
Some clothes reminded me of certain characters or looks when I bought them, others like the jacket and hoodie I've had before I got into britcom.
