Footage of my school/cemetery's resident Federal Signal 2001-SRN model siren turning and winding down for the noon test on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024. Everything looks up to standard! She sounds like a dream too. Wish I could've got video of her spinning up and starting her wail, but alas, I am in business class and forgot the test was today.
Drew that tornado siren. I've started calling her SRN (pronounced surn) since that's what her model series is called. Personified her as a humanoid with a siren horn head. Her skirt represents the pole she sits on and her bag is that large electrical box on her side. I wanted to show her personality (or lack thereof) to me.
