The signage is split into two halves. On the left side of the panel shows where the train is at while the train is stopped (with a flashing bounding box), and when it’s in motion, it displays the next stop. The name of the next 10 stops, in yellow, are displayed to the right of ‘you are here sign post’. Each station name is accompanied with designation in green which shows the additional lines…

These appeared new to me but I am not sure if it’s just that I have not been on the newer trains. These newer signage, seen on the M train today is very user-friendly. Easy to quickly tell what the next stop is and easily reusable for all different lines.

on handwritten cards, notes and/or letters
yesterday, Shots and I were talking about how rare it is to receive snail mails and handwritten letters nowadays. of course! everything is electronic na! instead of Hallmark greeting cards, you receive e-cards for special occassions. simple (handwritten dati) notes like "get some rest dear" or "don't skip your meals" are sent through SMS na lang. and even our friendly "wala-lang-i-just-thought-of-you-today-that's-why-i'm-sending-you-this-letter" letter just pops in our yahoo inbox or in any other social accounts we have.
quoting Shots: "siguro ang sarap ng pakiramdam na makatanggap ng handwritten letter ngayon." he is so right! handwritten notes and letters have more meaning now. they even say it's a dying art already.
seriously Shots nagulat ako! one minute we were just talking about it and the next day, tadaaaah!!!! i got one! no occassion at all... and it came from the other side of the globe pa! haha. my simple joy :)

2009 Philippine Physical Therapy Convention
September 12 and 13, 2009 Traders Hotel Manila ORGANIZING COMMITTEE: Chair - Maria Elizabeth Grageda, MHPEd, PTRP Members: Ferson Mendoza, EJ Gorgon, Melo Cunanan, Che Peralta, Tots Salonga, Donald Lipardo, Mar Ruiz, Xtian Rimando, Donald Manlapaz, Mike Gabilo, Eliza Mangaliman, Judy Aban, Amado Leonardo, Jocelyn Agcaoili, Royson Mercado and yours truly... Hanggang ngayon, i'm still puzzled as to why and how i became part of the org comm for this convention. But I really enjoyed it, madami pa rin nangyaring di inaasahan pero i did learn a lot. After the event, i had a deep thought on whether i should still be part of the org com next year. I had doubts na kakayanin ko pa. My contribution to the success of the event, i know, is imperfect, full of flaws pa rin. Quoting our foreign speaker Marilyn Moffat (WCPT president), "technology is good when it works". Unfortunately, ndi sya lagi smooth sailing. And yun ang di ko naanticipate. But as what Master Val would always say to his students, "one should allow himself to grow and one way to do that is to learn from his mistakes" (not the exact words, but the same thought, hehe). So yes, i still would want to be part of the chaos next year, and i would be more than happy to work with the same people, plus the new Chair: none other than Sir Val Dones himself. hehehe. (Sir Val, perfect na ako sa compre ah! pretty please!!! hahaha.)
