[FANACCOUNT] 121103 - Meeting Super Junior and other K-pop Idols at Sheraton Hotel in Viña del Mar - Chile

This is my fanaccount about how I saw SJ and other k-pop idols last weekend at Sheraton Hotel in Viña del Mar. It happened on November 3rd, 2012 the morning after Music Bank at Quinta Vergara. First of all, I never had any sort of luck or expectations in trying to meet idols and famous people in my life nor I stayed at Sheraton Hotel in Chile or waited at the airport. Even before attending the concert and booking the hotel I had already embraced the idea that I was going to attend the concert and that'd be everything I'd do. I´d see SJ perform and that was more than enough for me. So I thought until saturday morning. Saturday morning was typical for any fangirl who had screamed their lungs out after having watched their bias group perform. I could barely say a word, my vocal chords were really damaged from screaming (and if you watch MB in Chile fancams, you'll know how high pitched and loud the screams were), I had a sore throat and my feet were killing me for standing up for hours even though I was in VIP area, plus I barely slept thinking about the concert from the day before. After we had our breakfast, me, my sis, and dad (yes, he attended the concert with us) were packing everything to go to the bus terminal when I decided to meet my friend who was staying at Sheraton Hotel. We originally settled up for a meeting on friday morning but us 3 (dad, sis and I) were so tired from out trip that we wanted to rest to be 100% for the concert afterwards. I felt so guilty for cancelling our meeting that I wanted to make up for it by dropping by and saying hi to her, even if it had to be briefly before leaving Viña del Mar. As I reached the hotel, I saw many ELF, A+ and Boice in front of Sheraton's entry, many spent the night there from all I could hear other fans saying. I texted my friend saying that I had just arrived and she replied back telling me to go into the hotel. We chatted for about an hour close to the pool, she kept telling me how was her 2-minute encounter with MinHyuk from CNBlue and how cute, shy and nice he was. Then she showed me the beautiful view from her room and kept telling me how she saw MBLAQ members walking around the hotel all day long and how happy she was from everything that happened in that weekend. She is Boice and ELFish btw. It was almost check out time when we left her room, me and my sis helped her out with her luggage and we got the elevator to go back to the lobby area when, as soon as we reached the first floor, we saw some familiar face. I kept looking at him until I could finally recognize him as YongHwa from CNBlue. Us 3 had our eyes wide opened by the casuality of the situation. We weren’t expecting at all to see a k-pop idol at that point! He got really shy when recognized and said a very weak “annyonghaseyo” in return. Was really cute. The elevator arrived and he went to his room. Right after we met him, we saw all the girls from Rania on the lobby, they were really happy waving to people who were talking to them. Their manager didn’t want them to take pictures with fans and he told them to hurry and follow him outside, on the poll area. They began to follow him but stopped to take pictures with everyone nonetheless. They’re all really pretty, cheerful and nice. Genuinely nice with everyone. The red headed one looked like a doll that came straight from a manga XD Unlike After School who happened to appear seconds later. Raina was the only one nice enough, Nana was approached by a mom and she made a disgusted face before agreeing to take a picture. The others were at the back as if they didn’t care. There were only 4 people there asking for pictures, me , my sis, my friend and that mom. As soon as we saw how AS ignored that mom, us 3 decided we shouldn’t even ask them anything. They obviously didn’t want to get bothered. As we waited for mid-day to arrive, checkout time, we were waiting in the sofa at the lobby nearest the elevator. Not much later we saw YoungHwa again. He sat to a table next to where we were seated. Very slowly we approached him and asked for an individual picture, which he agreed to take instantly. He is a shy guy, unlike Rania girls lol. He’s very well-mannered and he always responded when greeted. He smells nice too. After our picture, we let him have his time alone and with his phone. At that point, I was seriously questioning those rumors on twitter about SJ having left at 6am, it was not possible if all idols were still there, right? My friend also said that she saw SJ’s manager the day before with a piece of paper with every member’s names and their rooms (twin rooms) and at the right side of the page she read “check out at 1 pm”. Their flight shouldn’t be that different from others, I assumed. So even though my friend had to go take her bus to Santiago, me and my sister stayed to wait for Super Junior. To my surprise, 4 Peruvian ELF entered the lobby and we started to have a SJ-bias convo. Not much later we saw MBLAQ and CNBlue leaving the hotel through main entrance, all coming from the floor under the lobby. Immediately after, AS and Rania came from the same place and left to their buses outside Sheraton. Fans outside were screaming really loud. With the possibility of SJ would getting out from the same floor, all 6 of us marched to the -1 floor, under the lobby. As soon as we got there, from the elevator we could see 9 luggage one beside the other. SJ would definitely get out from there XD I was getting so excited o, my heart was pounding really fast with the possibility of seeing SJ in person that close!!! Chilean ELF were there too, 10 of them maximum. We talked a little and they ran to the pool area. They said Donghae was there!!!!! My heart at that time was racing so fast, I felt like it was escaping from my mouth. And he was really there at the pool, looking gorgeous with his all black clothes, *O* our fishy was looking at the sea saying goodbye to his south American family o/ (~_~ > ignore me) We couldn’t even recover from seeing him move in 4D/5D and not on our flat screens or paper, he was entering the corridor we were watching him from! Everyone panicked! We kept telling each other to act normally not to scare him away. Even my sis, and she’s a Cassie XD I agonized at every step he gave in our direction, it was not possible, was it? Donghae, that cute guy from the group I stan for years now was there breathing the same air as me. What’s … air? I saw a girl before him asking for a picture, so he touched her arm and told her that we was really sorry but he couldn’t take any pictures ;/ *the girl’s face was O_O (he-touched-my-arm). His manager was right beside him enjoying our shy selves in front of Hae. My sister greeted him and he greeted her back and then….. OMG I was next! I needed to do something, anything, but I couldn’t find any words in any language. All I could do was to put my hand in front of my body and, to my surprise, he shooked it without thinking twice!!!!! DONGHAE SHOOK MY HAND WHAT THE FUCK KAIHFOAEIHFAÇWOEIH. I could only bow after that, no words… really… really ._. He interacted to every girl who went close to him <3 His hand is not exactly soft, maybe because he works out a lot, and I was surprised at how thin and big it was. Fangirls, fanboys, Hae’s a vision! He was not wearing any make up, he was only wearing glasses, still was so perfect! He’s not as strong as I thought he was, and he’s 1,71 – 1,72 m maximum, but he’s so seductive and nice and … wow *O* While I was still absorbing what happened, my sister came and hugged me really tight. We were all very happy to see DongHae up close, we were all screaming really loud when he left to his room. All we wanted at that moment was to wait the rest of SJ to show up; But before that, we were told we couldn’t make noises, nor touch them, nor film them, nor take pics of them, we couldn’t do anything but to greet them from afar. SM has image rights over SJ and they’re really picky with those stuff. Their manager said they wouldn’t come out if there was any buzz or loud noises (a girl manager, prince manager was nowhere to be found). I don’t remember SJ having a manager who is a girl, someone pls enlighten me if u know who she is. For about 20 minutes, all 16-15 fans there were excitedly chatting about their experiences with SJ when an elevator full of people came to the floor we were all at. We all instantly muted, our mouths wide opened and some were covering their mouths not to scream. They were all there laughing and having fun with each other. Sungmin was laughing at something Shindong said and Kangin was there laughing at both ^^ Awnnn my God, their laugh is so <3333 Sungmin was next to the door and Shindong was beside him, then there was Kangin, and then Wookie also close to the door. At the moment they saw us, Sungmin was still smiling and gave us a shy wave, so did Shindong. KangIn immediately put his hoodie and covered his head, Wookie didn’t even look at us tbh but all of them greeted or waved back when we said “tcharlgaseyo” (go well, safe). Some of them looked really tired though or maybe because they were all without make-up on ;/ Min’s very handsome and adorable, his skin is very soft and his smile is very white, he has a nice body but he’s very short ^^. Shorter than me with heels (and I’m 1,63m) sooo cute ^^ Shindong’s really handsome and thin, his smile is very attractive too. Unfortunately it all happened so fast I couldn’t see Kangin and Wookie. ;/ forgive me I was so surprised we all behaved well despite the non-existant security, even the organizer and the hotel security was like “was this Super Junior that just passed?” ^^ They passed by centimeters away from us, it was like a dream! *O* They’re real guys It took me a while to comprehend lol it was so … strange in a nice way XD. They headed to the van while we waited for the other 4 to come. Yesung, Kyu, Donghae and Hyuk were missing. 5 minutes later Yesung got out of the elevator with a manager beside him. As soon as he saw he was getting his attention, he smirked and greeted us lol ~~ Yeye, was wearing glasses and looked pleased by having his crowd next to him LOL. He was also not wearing any make-up, and he’s taller than I thought. He’s so cute, I completely agree with ELFJapan that say he looks like an Anime character. He does! and that’s so cute, he looks like a little kid <3 Hae came right after also with a manager beside him, he waved at every single fan there very excitedly ^^ Cute boy… He was with his glasses off, and OMG his eyes. They are so …and I’m gonna be a little cheesy here, they’re genuine and kind in sort of a sad way. They gave me the vibe that Hae really needs protection and cherishes ELF, that he enjoys fans presence. He looks like a kid trapped in a man’s body, so amusing to see, really. ^^ Almost immediately after Hae, Kyuhyun was the next to get out of the elevator. He was with his manager, that guy with a striped shirt. He is really pale o_o the true Snow White of SJ ^^If Heechul or (Kibum) ever claims they are SJ’s SW, don’t believe them! XD He also looks like a kid, his smile is really friendly. He seemed to be a little sleepy so I think he didn’t see us at first. As soon as he saw us, he gave us that surprised smile, I think he wasn’t expecting fans there at that time. He smiled, waved and greeted us back. When he turned back, he covered his right cheek with his left hand. I think he didn’t us to take a picture of him without make-up on. He has acne and some scars in his face, he is taller than the rest of the members too. He indeed looks like the maknae, the babyfat in his cheeks are super adorable. At that point, HyukJae was the last one to come out. After Kyu, members probably waited him 15 minutes more in the van, from all I could tell, he’s the one who is most concerned about Airport fashion. When he got out of the elevator, he looked a little sleepy too, just like Kyu, but opened a big smile when he saw fans. His eyes are actually really big when compared to other SJ members, he thanked us and waved when we told him to go safe. He also bowed to us like we did to him, Hyuk is also joining SJ’s cute Kids Club ^^ I know they are all grown-up men but still, I cannot help myself from thinking they’re like little kids I need to protect. Maybe because I saw them so casually, without make-up on, without security around, they were so relaxed and some looked so sleepy it was so… cute and unreal… I cannot describe the feeling very well. Rather than wanting to scream my lungs out, all I wanted was to pat their heads and tell them I like them very much. When they were all reunited in the van, they waved at all the fans before leaving. It looked like they were playing with each other before doing so cause some members were standing up inside the van and they were laughing at each other, it seems they get along very well hihihi. I’m a happy ELF ^O^/

I think that was all, overall they all looked tired, petit, very surprised by the storm they brought, and also cute, adorable, and real. Never in my wildest dreams I thought something like this would ever happen to me I’m so keeping these moments in my head forever, it’s so unfortunate we couldn’t document everything but I’ll for sure reserve a special place in my heart for all those memories. It was nothing particularly out of this world, but as an ELF, I was really happy to see them being themselves in their everyday life. Thank you SJ, thank you for proving me I'm stanning the right group. Siwon and Leeteuk oppa, please take care of yourselves o/
