I really needed a song like Veridia’s “I Won’t Stay Down” in my life right now. I’ve been having trouble with a lot of mental health things and just figuring out my life and I really needed something positive right now and that song was just it. Can’t wait for the whole album

Before sending in confession #20141 I left a comment on Deena’s recent post about the song. I wrote how I had been feeling and what I’ve been struggling with and what the song is doing for me right now. I didn’t expect a response or for her to even read it but she left a really nice response. I just really appreciate that, even though she didn’t have to and is probably busy with tons of other things, she took the time to read and respond to a comment that was really just me venting.
