Hurricane Harvey
Y'all, if you are the praying kind, I'm humbly asking you to please send up a quick one to whoever it is that you pray to for the storms in Texas to stop. Hurricane Harvey has absolutely wrecked Houston and so many other Texas cities, and it isn't even over yet. I have so many friends trapped down there still, another family member that was on a cruise ship that couldn't get to the dock (safe now) , and other friends that are leaving their families and homes in safe areas with their personal boats and trucks to assist in rescuing others. It's heart breaking and heart warming at the same time, but I'm ready for it to be over. I'm so grateful for every donation that has come our way, whether it's money, food, shelter, fuel or anything in between, or simply a thought, prayer or kind word. I also am extremely touched by the other states and organizations that have loaded up and come to the Lone Star state's aide. Your selflessness and generosity staggers me and brings tears to my eyes. I know that this will pass and we will rebuild, but in the meantime, I'm asking that you continue to pray for the ones who have been touched by this disaster. Thank you all <3
