I mean, if they had instant chemistry (not just during a chemistry “test” during the audition process), and your marriage is in trouble, and you hit it off with your female guest star that’s only on set for 3 eps??? I could only imagine what the tension must’ve been like back in 2016. Despite the 2017 SDCC shit show, Mel was still acting like a puppy with Katie. Then 2018 SDCC happened and the fandom was like 👀👀👀👀 (not to mention the candids, FINALLY!). There was one keycard and they were attached at the hip when allowed to roam, lol!
