Oh look, some dudes got some homers and we managed to beat the Cubs 10-7! I slept through the second half of the game because my head's killing me and I'm pretty medicated, so my Player of the Game is: DSpan because he had a good game while I was still awake. Honorable Mention: Mark Melancon in spite of the fact that he didn't come into the game at all. It's his birthday!
Apparently, as a Pirate, Vogey talked about the Giants all the time, until Melancon finally told him, um, this is the Pirates. But clearly, he liked what he heard, so thanks for that Vogey.
If I never hear the fucking name Tim Tebow in a baseball context again, I will be a very happy person.
