Dirty the pages with ink.
Today I wanted to design the layout for next years bullet journal. First I wanted to continue using my Leuchtturm notebook but then I realized the last couple months I didn’t enjoy it too much. I don’t own a lot of journaling accessories like washi tapes and I can’t print stuff right now so I do everything on my iPad. That’s when I decided to make my bullet journal digitally this time. I take my iPad with me everywhere so it’s way easier.. And the biggest advantage is that I have a huge access on washi tapes and media in general. Also, it’s faster and and time saving because of copy and paste.
I still 💛 traditional bullet journaling and I adore people who have such amazingly decorated bullet journals which are like the coolest thing ever. Anyways, I will try the digital way this year and if you guys are interested I can make some tutorials and show you how I do it.
There you go, this is my beginning of the yea 2018 layout. The January layout will follow along.
Managed to get a kikki.k planner for half price as it was ex-display (only one week has been used otherwise it’s perfect)
Having fun designing new printables to add to the store
01/01/18- so 2017 was the first year that used the bullet journal and it started off really strong. however half way through the year something wasn’t working anymore and i just stopped. i think it had something to with style. i was changing it up all the time and it was just becoming too busy especially the fonts. so, to start off 2018 i decided to chose a new font that was simple and bold and that i will probably use for all my titles, heading, accents, etc. i decided that the old school traditional tattoo font would be a perfect choice for myself. unfortunately i don’t think i’ll be jumping right into the bullet journal for daily and weekly planing, as i bought an academic passion planner at the end of the summer, which i’m half way trough and don’t want to waste. one thing i miss about the bullet journal is it’s flexibility, especially for goal and habit tracking. so in the mean time i will be making monthly spreads for habits and goals. once my passion planner is complete about mid 2018 i think i’ll be moving back into my bullet journal full time -12/31/17
And now..... my new 2018 planner!! I’m so excited because when I was creating this years bullet journal, my only concern was its size. But thanks to a friend for gifting me this wonderful planner, I now have a much smaller version of my new bullet journal that I can carry around with me everywhere.
If you guys want a planner like this one, I found one with the same layout but different cover here
