It’s time to sum up what this amazingly hard and terrifyingly wonderful year brought me. Hold on, we’ll make it quick.
This year was full of ups and downs; I didn’t count, but it felt fair.
If it comes to good things, there definitely was “Good Omens” TV series on the top of the list. There were more stories by @neil-gaiman, there was his MasterClass - it all spoke to me, made me reconsider my choices. Spoil alert: I started to write again.
This year was blessed with good stories! There were all the lovely prompts by @justkeeptrekkin, there were all the warm and cozy stories @drawlight was kind enough to share with us. And there definitely was “Slow show” (oh my god, they were co-stars! The story literally left me heart-broken, sinking like wreckage into the deep waters of my emotions) by @mia-ugly.
After a 5 year of silence, I finally started to write again. I end this year with 30k words published. My huge white wip whale is still being edited, so actually it’s 60k words written since September.
I started to draw again! I entered the fandom with Victorian Crowley which has about 1,6k notes now. @neil-gaiman saw it, even liked it. You bet I have the screenshot printed and proudly hanging on a wall.
I’m grateful for every joy this year brought me, as well as for every lesson.
In 2020 I wish you all the things you are lacking. I wish the courage to finally change all the things you would like different, and I wish you all the strength to keep all those things you are proud of.
From my heart to yours, I wish you all the best.
