Now that we're through art claims, I thought I'd share some stats about our fic submissions for our first ever round of the Byler Big Bang!
It's time to start getting seriously excited for all the amazing fics and art that are coming out of this!
2022 stats
a bit late
very glad I did this because I thought I wrote very little in 2022 but I whopped a goddam amount of 118k+ words awooga (which is around 40k more than 2021?? idk math sorry)
haechan has been the main star and doyoung got dethroned both in number of words, fics, but also popularity
jeno did very well with his single one (1) fic, congrats
very curious fact i wrote the same amount of fics (8) both in 2021 and in 2022
another curious fact, 4 out of the 8 fics are part two to a previous fic, learning from this i feel like i should stop starting complicated fics that need another part because it’s draining (or not haha)
note: in jeno and mark’s word count I didn’t add the haechan or doyoung fics in which they’re secondary characters.

CHENLE: best appearance award (a few lines)
JISUNG: best appearance award 2 (was just mentioned but left an impact)
2022 Fanfiction Stats
In 2022, I posted 10 stories across 3 fandoms (Grimm, Teen Wolf, and White Collar) for a combined 71,482 words (prior to any further edits).
I participated in Fandom Trumps Hate again, Sterek Artist Seduction Screw, Sterek Reverse Bang, Sterek Big Bang, Sterek Reverse Quickie, and Sterek Secret Santa plus an extra gift for StSS.
I completed Nanowrimo (but not the story itself) as well.
Overall, despite feeling like I didn’t accomplish much, I am pleased with what I did get done.
Looking forward to 2023, I hope to participate in FTH again, a few events, and work on my WIPs.

So I did this last year 2021 Stats and kept the log going for 2022 so wanted to do another comparison. I know it’s not a competition and its quality not quantity that matters, but I like keeping spreadsheets 🤣

In 2022 I wrote 46 pieces, which amount to 102,205 words!
Somehow it feels like I didn't write even a fraction of it in my mind and I am very shocked (in a good way) at how much I managed to write and post.
