The Gaza Food Relief Project November Updates
Hi everyone! I hope you’re all doing well :)
The Gaza Food Relief Project Team remains on the ground and is still in need of your support and donations to keep our work alive. The people of Gaza are facing a man-made hunger, winter storms, and exhaustion from surviving the genocide. Tareq and Mohammed have asked me to seek your assistance with raising funds. We would also like to recognize the people and organizations who have helped us along the way and celebrate how far we have come together.
There has been an alleged “ceasefire” agreement called in October that is attempting to distract people from the ongoing genocide that started 2 years ago following the Nakba. That “ceasefire” serves as a distraction from the truth that the genocide is still happening, and we all know it. Palestinians are still being targeted violently, and the essential resources like food, clean water, and access to a safe, warm shelter are being withheld intentionally. We must take a stand for human rights and do so together. It is winter now in Gaza and innocent people are suffering from the cold weather and flooded tents. They need our unwavering support such as sharing our GoFudMe link and donating funds to be able to survive these horrible conditions. This will help give them the strength and hope necessary to keep fighting for their liberation.
We are asking for your help once again. We are facing a great difficulty in raising funds for our project. We need you, our wonderful supporters, to join our team. We call on to anyone who would love to help us raise funds so that we can continue to feed and house a large number of children and families who are in need here in Gaza. We would also like to celebrate our efforts in fundraising since starting this campaign in August 2024. In combination with our Chuffed campaign, we have fundraised a total of $19,851. We gathered $2,255 from Chuffed and $17,596 on Gofundme. We have also received various donations through PayPal. Thank you so much for investing in the future of Palestine. Your commitment to community care is the sole reason that one of the most resilient groups of people on earth are still here and fighting on.
