The Unforgiving as an album really fits Bayonetta 1, in my opinion. Not just in regards to the music, but the lyrics fit the plot/character to the point it might’ve well been written for it. “Iron” and “Shot in the Dark”, for example, suit Bayo’s character arc in the game, “Lost” kinda fits her concern for Cereza, and “Faster” is just a straight-up BayoJeanne song to me; not to mention how “A Demon’s Fate” lyrically reminds me of the final fight.
