Blue My Mind es una película suiza de terror de 2017 dirigida por Lisa Brühlmann. La película cuenta la historia de un adolescente de  Zúrich que se transforma en sirena. La película se proyectó en festivales antes de estrenarse en los cines suizos.

Blue My Mind: es como un estallido mental que se sumerge en el azul del origen.

Para los lectores que no están muy familiarizados con el inglés, intento explicarles la intensidad del título...

En otras palabras: El título Blue My Mind es un hallazgo lingüístico que parece escrito por los dioses de la metáfora. En inglés, blew my mind significa “me voló la cabeza”, una expresión de asombro, de algo que rompe los límites de lo imaginable. Pero al cambiar blew (pasado de blow) por blue (azul), la frase adquiere un doble sentido poético: el azul como color del agua, del océano, del misterio, y también como símbolo de melancolía y transformación.

Así, el título condensa en dos palabras todo el viaje de Mia: el impacto de lo inconcebible (blew) y la inmersión en lo acuático, lo profundo, lo emocional (blue). Es un juego perfecto, porque no solo describe la experiencia de ver la película, sino también la metamorfosis de su protagonista. En ese cruce de significados, el título se convierte en una alegoría en sí mismo: un estallido mental que desemboca en el azul del origen.

Overseer J Hendricks' Note - Beware, A Vengeful Spirit Stalks These Canyons

If you are reading this message do yourself a favor and turn and run straight out of this canyon.

For near 11 months my people have been engaged in daily battle with an evil spirit of this place.

Arriving February of last year with a party 118 strong, we were attacked by primitives and forced to defend ourselves. Whereupon something began killing us in wide numbers. We have done our absolute best to find and kill this thing, thinking it was a man because it uses our firearms against us and traps of all kinds. But no man could defy our efforts as this thing has. It is more evil than any man could be.

We have been reduced to just 34 of our number. We have lost six overseers before me. Some have perished from the sickness in their lungs we carried out of the Vault. But that number is small next to the count of friends this thing has murdered.

Now that I am finally made overseer, we are leaving straight away and will not return. If you have come to this seeming paradise seeking the fresh water, abundant game, and shelter you suppose you will find here, do not be deceived. You will find only death here. Leave at once and put miles between you and this place.

May God have mercy on us all.
