SF born producer and long-time Red Bull Studios collaborator Mr. Carmack brings hip-hop’s crate digging ethos into the modern day with his eclectic flips of weighty trap-esque rhythms and abstract bass. Attention to his style soon snowballed with releases on Soulection and Mad Decent’s Jeffree’s imprint, as well as collaborations with the likes of Diplo, Kaytranada, Djemba Djemba and Red Bull Music Academy graduate, Branko. This track – an absolute BELTER, if we may say so ourselves – is taken off his upcoming EP, the Yellow EP, which was partly recorded at the Red Bull Studios in Los Angeles, and is rumored to drop some time very soon.
