Thank you! I’ll answer these for my World of Warcraft main - the Draenei priest, Lumariae. Questions here. Some answers for my Dragon Age Inquisitor here.

3. Who is the closest person to them?

For a long time it was another priestess, Imiri. She was the one who first reached out to Lumariae when she was ready to be helped after her long depression and inspired her to become a priestess herself. They’ve drifted a bit in current years though, as Imiri became disillusioned with the Light and left their order to seek out a simple life raising elekks on Azuremyst. Now the closest person would have to be her wife, Nimra (a lightforged Draenei paladin). They met while killing demons on Argus and quickly eloped to make the most of life after the war was won. They lived in a small home in Stormwind for a time, helping each other through their injuries and traumas, and then Warcraft had to start shit again.

6. Do they have any bad habits?

Hmmmm. When she’s struggling mentally, sometimes she switches off her emotions as an involuntary defense mechanism that she picked up during the Bad Times when she was young. Maybe Nimra can someday help her to quit that and talk through her feelings instead. Though Nimra’s got her own battles with processing emotions that aren’t anger, so they both need time and space to figure things out (unlikely to happen though, given that there’s a new world ending crisis every five seconds in this damn game).

9. How would this character react to someone confessing their love for them?

Given that she’s married, she would let the person down gently and graciously. And she was the one taking the initiative more often than not during her and Nimra’s war zone ‘courtship’.

5. What creature would they like to have as a pet?

Anything’s good really. She loves all animals, so anything that would stay as a pet would be welcome

8. Who was their first love?

She didn’t really have a first love prior to the game events(so that means in Star Rewritten canon the answer’s Heodan), but she was pretty sweet on a boy at school in her teens. He liked her, too, but his family moved away before they got a chance to see if it could be anything.

13. Does your character consider themselves lucky?

OH, yeah. She gets to travel, explore, and has the best friends(plus an amazing sweetheart in SR), what’s not lucky about that?

18. What is their favorite spell or method of attack?

Kalakoth’s Freezing Rake, hands down. (look, she took down Scathdan and all his stelgaer in ONE HIT doing Hiravias’ quest with that spell. Nothing else has a chance against awesomeness like that)

Oh,yeah. There’s the swearing, the running from her feelings, the impulsiveness, the aggression... etc.

She doesn’t really have one? Any time that gets her extra food is good.

16. If they could instantly kill one person in the world without consequence, who would it be?

Whatever copperfucker is responsible for the people who keep trying to kill her, maybe if they’re dead the thugs’ll stop coming

9. How would this character react to someone confessing their love for them?

Would depend on the someone. If it were, say, Aloth or Alden it would be really weird and awkward tbh, because while she cares about both of them an extraordinary amount, it’s strictly platonic on her end. Kana? She’d probably die of happiness. Tekéhu or Serafen she’d think they were joking/teasing her. That sort of thing.

She’s 28 at the start of Pillars 1

17. If they were in possession of a trio of wishes, what would their three wishes be?  

Eradicate slavery.

Not to sound cliche, but she tries not to feel guilty about anything that makes her happy now. I guess maybe the occasional days off when she has standing responsibilities make her feel a tad guilty? To be relaxing when kith need her help?

Amount of sleep : I need about 8 hours to be rested. But I spent my year doing far less than that.

What you're wearing : I'm sporting a simple little sleeveless black dress. Gotta make a good impression when getting my Certification oral exams timetable this afternoon.

Dream job : Anything that involves writing and/or being creative. (But teaching is a fine realistic way to do it.)

Dream trip : I'd like to go back to Greece (see the isles this time). But one of my next big plan is to go and see the northern lights, maybe in Iceland.

Instrument : The flute. And I can sing, although it's been a while, and I much prefer doing this with other people, in a choir.

11. Are they normally peaceful or aggressive?

This entirely depends on the situation. Her clan would say peaceful, but anyone who knows her through the Inquisition would say aggressive. Both groups would almost struggle to recognise her in the environment of the other.

12. How does this character handle stress?

By getting angry and lashing out. Which is why she becomes a whole different person when events force her to play a prominent role in a predominantly human and Andrastian organisation that the literal fate of the world depends on. This stress response serves her well in the fight against her enemies, but is less helpful for making friends.

14. What is their favourite holiday?

I don't know if there are any notable Dalish holidays (and it's sad to think that this could be yet another thing the Dalish themselves have lost knowledge of), so I'll suggest the time of Arlathvhen as a reasonable substitute - when all the clans come together once a decade or so to share stories and knowledge. Lorel loves her people deeply and is very proud to be Dalish.

2. What is your character’s relationship with their family? Family is a word which here refers to biological relatives, close companions, and/or the individual(s) who raised them.

She has a fantastic relationship with her family, particularly her dad and younger sister. All of the sisters are fairly close in age(by halfing standards especially), so they wound up frequently mix-and-matching for playing/exploring/other stuff while they were growing up.   

5. What creature would they like to have as a pet?

Aside from Ember(red panda), who’s already something of a dream pet, she’d love to have an owlbear. There are multiple occasions where she’s day-dreamed(aided and abetted by Linzi and Amiri) about finding one as a baby to raise so it would maybe be more docile. Valerie and Jubilost always tell her no, and then when she goes and grumps about it to Tristian, he lets her vent but points out they’re probably right, aren’t they? Yes, yes they are

11. Are they normally peaceful or aggressive?

She’s normally pretty live and let live, partially due to her happy nature, partially due to her commitment--as a follower of Desna--to personal freedom. If your “personal freedom” involves hurting/enslaving/killing others, though... well, she’s a little less inclined to leave you be.

17. If they were in possession of a trio of wishes, what would their three wishes be?

Oh, boy.....

At least a century of peace and quiet and prosperity for her kingdom (Sparrows’ Rest) after she finishes dealing with Nyrissa; not for her sake but for her people’s. They’ve been through several different types of hell since she founded Sparrows’ Rest and she wants them to have a nice long break.

She’d be really tempted to wish Tristian could have his sight back, but he seems to have adjusted to/accepted being blind, so she’d probably talk to him and ask if that’s something he wants before doing it.

For the people she cares about(family and companions both) to find and keep happiness in life.

(I haven’t finished the game yet thanks to obscene load times, but I’ve heard vague hints of Bad Stuff that can potentially happen toward the end, so some of That might change one of her wishes)

18. What is their favorite spell or method of attack?

She’s a big fan of just beating things down with her shocky-frost mace(yes, that’s what she calls it) and shield. Favorite spell, if you made her pick, is probably Firebelly (so far; she’s not done yet, maybe that’ll change as she levels up and gets more stuff).
