Morning Love

An Andromaquynh drabble for the TOG femslash fortnight, cross-posted to ao3

Andy wakes with her nose in Quynh's hair.

Taking a deep breath, she snuggles closer, breathing in a scent that is purely Quynh as she closes her eyes again, smiling.

She's still not quite over the fact that she finally has her back.

Quynh stirs, woken by Andy's movement, and turns around to face her, pressing a kiss to her nose.

"Wakey-wakey, sleepyhead!"

Scrunching up her nose, Andromache makes a noise of displeasure and tries to hide her face in Quynh's neck, trying to make Quynh stay in bed with her.

"You're the one who woke me, Andromache!" Quynh laughs.

Gonna be honest right, I expected myself to finish episode 3 of this show, make a post being like “fucking boring”, go mark it as dropped, and then be done. But maybe that ramen joke at the end of last episode did something to like, kind of endear me to these characters, because I did honestly sorta like this episode. Like friend and enemy hacker having a hack-off was sorta dumb but then enemy hacker pulling up a chat to ask what happened and then Orange being like “my super hunky friend shut my PC off”, that was funny honestly. I also like Orange a lot in general because of how much attention he draws to weird anime-isms. Like he unplugs the laptop on accident and he’s all “wait but it’s a laptop it shouldn’t shut off”, or in the first episode where he was like “woah all the girls’ eyes turned to hearts”, dude’s just funny. Noblesse is becoming a bit more enjoyable as a comedy, so I think I’ll just keep watching it. The plot’s also finally happening, not that I really care, but like, yeah.

So yeah, I genuinely went into this episode wanting to drop the show, but it made me feel willing to keep watching, and that’s sorta worthy of praise. Well done Noblesse.
