1995年から2000年ぐらいのインターネットって、想像以上にアクセスするのがメンドクサイし機材も必要な趣味だった。今の若者にはピンとこないかもしれないけど。偏見上等でいうと「パソコンオタク」の割合が現代よりもかなり高くて、いじめっ子イキリ発言をネットでするようなタイプは少数派だった。
