‘The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership’ ( John C. Maxwell ) ~~~> There are few words that I could type in this review that could get across how great of a book this is. I enjoyed it immensely and encourage everyone in the blogosphere to not only read it, but go beyond that, and apply each of the 21 laws into your life as soon as possible!
Each of these laws are very well researched & presented in an easy to digest manner -- of them, my top 5 favorites are: Law of the Lid; Law of the Inner Circle; Law of Priorities; Law of Explosive Growth; and, the Law of Legacy. There are so many point-on quotes, anecdotes, stories, and personal example in each chapter, I couldn't possibly cover even 2-3 chapters' worth in this recommendation without writing a term paper!
In sum, our society (the U.S., and the West as a whole) is starving and in dire need of true leaders; I have been fortunate enough to be able to study true leadership in my ongoing self-directed education, and I know well that very few of those called "leaders" in the mass media truly are. In fact, Mr. Maxwell covers these false perceptions head-on. Please buy yourself a copy & bless your library and brain. All best regards!
