I really don’t know very much about 228K other than the fact that the producer hails from Lyon, France, a city I had hoped to visit when I was in France a couple autumns ago. He’s froze me in mid-internet music trawling motion the other day when I encountered his latest song, When It’s Cold Outside, a spectacular composition that lead me to spend an extended amount of time exploring his other sonic offerings. Organic meets electronic to utmost efficiency on this soulful and orchestral future bass and chill trap offering, a tour de force, emotively charged masterpiece. When It’s Cold Outside brings me back to some of Chet Faker and Flume’s early collaborative tracks.
