The Beatles photographed at the BBC’s Paris Studio on Regent Street, London on the 22nd January 1963. They were there to record the Pop Inn radio programme. They’re photographed with fellow radio guests, singer Joan Regan and Shane Fenton as he was known at the time - aka Alvin Stardust - who went on to marry Iris Caldwell, Rory Storm’s sister who’d previously dated both George and Paul (though not at the same time).
