what kind of elemetal damage would bees/wasps/hornets deal
here are my thoughts
bees put their whole-ass lives at stake to sting someone threatening them and/or the hive. the element is gonna have to be worth that kind of a sacrifice. considering the stinger stays in the skin when it's dealt i would think that would count as a sort of damage over time instance. imo, the only elements that can really do damage over time in this case are fire and toxin. when you get stung by a bee, it has that initial pin-prick of pain that eventually spreads, as fire does: fire needs only a spark to start. but toxin? toxin fits. a damage over time ability. it makes your skin swell in a reaction. the remaining effect is itching. tl;dr, i think the average bee would deal fire damage. fitting, isn't it, to be like the kamikaze fighters that would often go out in blazes
hornets are really more of little shits when it comes to stinging. they don't go out of their way to do it, but if you give them a reason to, they'll likely take it. unlike bees, hornets are able to strike more than once with their power. they don't die after stinging. the whole point of their stinger is to inject venom into whatever they're attacking to fight and then be able to get away. in this case, hornets would also do toxin damage, albeit more of an instantaneous example.
wasps are very easy going, truth be told. they just want some fruit and sugar water and to eat pests. if a wasp stings you, sorry buddy but you most likely brought it on yourself [knowingly or not]. this makes me think that wasps do not necessarily seek vengeance on the normal being. their stings are more of a "hey stop that shit" corrective strike. therefore, i believe wasps would use electric. a short zap to make the predator pause and stop while the wasp can get away.
