Sick and Pregnant
Being sick sucks. Being sick and pregnant, is worse. I have had a terrible cough for 12 days - the type where you might think I was a smoker of 50 years.
I hate smokers - but he sure does make it look good....
Anyways! What REALLY sucks, other than hacking up my own lungs, is that you cannot take anything. I don’t quite understand how you cannot take any cough syrup pregnant, but you can take narcotics for pain after a C-Section and nurse your child.
On Friday I coughed so hard I literally threw up the ice cream I had 20 minutes before that.
As If I don’t feel unattractive enough being pregnant, let’s add a really unattractive hacking cough to it to help with the self esteem.
