louis’ birthday: eleanor posted the video of her and louis from 2017 in that gay bar in amsterdam
Tammi posted a pic of the whole family with f wearing a doncaster rover jumper that is on sale on their website (they were all wearing ‘summer’ clothes except F and he looked awkward as hell he probs was too hot :`/)
25th e posted videos (IG stories) from the stunt house where she was alone. Bruce was there but no clifford
charlielightening: Happy birthday mate. @louist91 a mega way to end the year smashing the livestream. Next year big things to come. Have a great day ..#louistomlinson #happybirthaday...📸 @charlielightening

So you’d think this is a failed timeline and you’d be right but these screenshots have nothing to do with how it failed whatsoever lol
But before we get to that, Higurashi episode 13. Keiichi gets a huge amount of people together, they protest CWS, Ooishi actually shows up to be like “hey you’re not being fully legal”, but then some lawyer and the Sonozaki uncle show up and be like “actually they are, fuck you” and then they’re able to finally get CWS and now Ooishi who’s had a change of heart to go save Satoko pog! Taken a while but I’m glad we’re finally here, and I like that Ooishi is characterised in quite a grey way here - it’s hard to really feel who he is in a sense, feels quite multifaceted. And we’ll come back to that lol.
Now Satoko really is saved, like her uncle is taken to prison and shit, so we get to have some slice of life at Watanagashi.
GOD everyone’s cute, love seeing anime girls with firearms too.
Now after all of this, Satoko actually takes Keiichi up a mountain, basically thanks him for everything he’s done and talks about how she thought staying silent and bearing all the abuse was a sign of strength, and it’s all the efforts that everyone put into saving her that made her realise that wasn’t the case. And the big symbolic thing is she actually asks Keiichi if she can call him “nii-nii”. Isn’t that sweet? It seems to evolve into her being a bit too dependent though, as she takes Keiichi to her house to give her something and then says “this is your house after all”. It’s great what Keiichi’s done for her and calling him “nii-nii” since he protected you is sweet, but don’t be treating him as a genuine substitute, Satoko. I am honestly quite mixed about this plotpoint just because I don’t think it frames Satoko all that well, I get that this is a horror show and all these characters are actually fucked up, but turning her into this obsessively dependent girl right as we finish saving her just feels like a bit much. And more annoyingly is the fact that it doesn’t really get to go anywhere due to how this arc really ends. Like every other arc, we’ve gotta failed timeline this, so basically everyone including Satoko dies. I’m not against that in theory but it’s disappointing that they set Satoko’s character up in X way but the timeline failure prevents that from going everywhere. Maybe it’ll come into play in another timeline, who knows.
But then yeah about that ending, Satoko’s uncle actually manages to attack Keiichi when they’re in Satoko’s house. Weird, thought he was in jail? Resident chad Keiichi actually flips the situation around though and gravely wounds if not kills the bastard, before waking up in hospital. Initially I was annoyed with this in so far as it doesn’t really seem like there’s a reason for Teppei to still be in the house, able to attack Keichii. And in fact, we’re never even given a reason. But what Rena tells us is that fuckin, Ooishi pulled a gun out during Watanagashi and just started shootin the shit! Everyone important that’s not Rena died! Fuckin morally grey I said nah dude he’s as morally bankrupt as the rest of them! What a twist though, it’ll be interesting seeing more of him in future now that we know what he’s capable of. But anyway it’s supposedly Ooishi that takes Teppei to prison but if Ooishi was later gonna slaughter everyone, maybe he left Ooishi home on purpose, maybe that’s why he had the change of heart mid protest. Dude’s fuckin, a fascinating lad.
But yeah, fun ending, unfortunate about Satoko’s character though, however I do still like her a lot, she is still a very cute fanged Akio Watanabe loli that’s snooty beyond belief and that’s poggers.
Next arc is called Cat-deceiving Chapter owo. Sounds uwu. Looking fowward to it owo.
letter for louis!♥︎
