This Thursday at 242 Main in Burlington! This may very well be one of the last times we play this venue before it transitions to another location. Come out and check out the touring bands and have fun!
This week I’ll be taking a trip up the northeast. I’ll be showcasing a couple new songs, and playing with some old friends!

Tour Journal Day 5: Burlington, VT
Yesterday morning started with a trip to the mechanic to replace a wheel bearing. After lunch we were on our way to Burlington. It is so cold here.
The show as at 242 Main which is a great all ages volunteer run spot that has hosted bands like Fugazi, AFI, and Big D and The Kids Table. Emma Fern opened the show and then Harpoons played. Harpoons are a jammy post punk band.
We played next. Our set was: Course Correction, Invisible Fingers, Confessions of a Data Miner, On The Edge of Fertile Territory, Lost It In The Blackened Morning, Spots On The Analog Sunset. It was really nice to play on a stage and have a lot of room. Basements are fun but other performance spaces are great too.
Mac Swan and Black Holly closed the show. They are this wild punk band who replaced their guitar with a banjo. Everyone had really great tones and they were so fantastic to watch. Their singer is going to teach me how to climb trees.
The past few nights have been really validating in that at least one person per show has said something to me that goes to the tune of, “It’s so refreshing to see a band that’s not doing the same old thing.” True that.
Thanks to Justin for hosting the show last night and to my friend Joel for giving us a place to crash. He showed us a bit of Burlington this morning and then we went out to breakfast. Tonight we’re playing at The ROTA Gallery in Plattsburgh, NY. It’s the third time we’ve played there – the last time was March of 2013!
