Hey! It’s happening again! Pizza Party with Iron Chic on 10/16 at The Monkey House in Winooski! Come hang and eat some pizza!

One thing that sets the New Scrappy/Mysteries apart from the other series I’ve seen, is how much intentional investigating is going on, instigated by Daphne.

For example, in Doom Service, she specifically says they’re there as hotel staff to investigate rumors of a ghost. It’s not just happening into a mystery, it’s looking purposely for one.

Also:

Why is everyone calling Ebenezer Overview a ghost? He looks like s regular guy and he isn’t incorporeal or glowing. It’s weird.

I completely forgot there was an invisible dog (?) with a unusual appetite.

ETA: sometimes it’s also reporting and coming across a mystery that way
