it was another typical night in which the club was fully crowded with ocean of different types of people and sumin had been off the stage for a while now, only observing people from where she was sitting at. suddenly she felt the boredom was taking over her and she needed someone to talk with out of habit that night, and that’s when her eyes caught seungri getting off his work station, a cheeky smile spreaded on her face. oh, what a perfect timing. 

maybe she could just go and bother seungri to kill the time, so she ordered two drinks for both her and seungri. the bartender himself was already keeping his hands full and it took him a while until he managed to serve sumin, she smiled nonchalantly at him upon taking the drinks with her and made her way towards where she believed she had seen seungri earlier… except that he wasn’t there anymore. “did he go missing when i look away?” a frown was visible on her face, her eyes once again wandered around the room to search for her friend, secretly hoping she wouldn’t bump into someone else while looking for him. 

her lips swiftly spreaded into a cheeky grin once seungri was in her radar again, but this time he wasn’t alone—there was another girl with him that sumin couldn’t recall her ever meeting seungri at the club, so she was quick to assume that they probably didn’t even know each other despite how ‘friendly’ they had looked like together at the moment. she walked towards the two of them, her slow steps were steady as she took her time to observe them even more. that’s when the girl started to wrap her arms around seungri’s neck, god knew what they actually were, but sumin had no time to care for that now.  

“oops, sorry. my hand just slipped,” sumin said loud enough to be heard throughout the music, putting on an apologetic face after she had poured half of the drink on the female’s dress—she knew it was as likely as not the best idea, but she did make the woman leave them alone anyways, so it was actually kinda a good one. she turned to look at seungri and grinned, handing him the half-filled drink. “i just have to waste your drink by the way.”

Junhoe wasn’t a big fan of shopping since it required going out and being around people. Although his sense of fashion definitely got better after high school where he simply relied on the uniform, so he didn’t have to put much effort in preparing his look, buying clothes seemed to be a curse. He felt as if he was wasting precious hours of his free time he could spend on more enjoyable activities.

But obviously, sometimes his wardrobe called for a little change. June had always stuck with minimalism and not too flamboyant patterns. In fact, black was away to go and different colours were rarely worn by him. Monochromatic would describe his style most briefly.

On his way to the shopping mall, he almost took a turn to head towards the nearest bookstore and leave his whole salary there instead of those chain stores, where everything looked just the same to him — only the label and the price differed the clothes there. Once he saw all those cheerful faces and hands holding a bunch of bags, he hardly held back the will to wince grumpily and send a judging glare. He wished to be already done with restocking his wardrobe in more plain shirts and sweaters.

His absent expression soon gave a kinder impression upon bumping into Seungri, who also wandered around the mall. Greeting him with the most amicable smile he could maintain in this situation, the corners of his lips immediately went back to a slight frown as it turned out that the male might have a similar challenge to face. “Of course.” He chuckled awkwardly, knowing that he would start regretting his choice in a while. “What are you looking for, hyung?”

Seunghyun knew the implications when he’d first talked to the owner of the Lush, knew that Seungri would have to be the main DJ, knew that they would have to deal with each other and be around each other. Honestly, things were so complicated between them and so painfully awkward, he didn’t know what to do, but he knew he had to try. He couldn’t help himself from trying-- like a bug flying towards one of those zap lights. Inevitable death. Something he couldn’t stop himself from.

Seungri looked sweaty part-way through the night and since Seunghyun couldn’t stop looking over at him anyway, he decided to grab a bottle of water and hop up on stage with him, coming into the DJ sound box to offer it to the younger. Keep smiling, he told himself. “Here! You look thirsty. Are you okay?”

Four Word Prompts: Not Accepting!

It had been a while since the crowed dispersed and Wonpil was almost done gathering his equipment and placing it in a roller. He was rather successful today and it was all thanks to that guy who was recording. People noticed him, maybe thinking Wonpil was someone famous, and so more people gathered around him. Either that or they were there because of him. He was pretty handsome.

Wonpil noticed a man approaching him, but he kept his eyes on wrapping everything on the cart. He looked up at him when he spoke and Wonpil smiled. “Yeah, I guess you can say that.” He hadn’t slept for a whole day which sucked because he wasn’t as strong as he was back then. When he was younger he could have lasted 2 days without sleep and still feel great. Now it is just 1 day and he feel like he could crash in any moment. “I saw you recording, did you get nice shots of me?” He joked, chuckling to himself.

“Are you fucking insane!?”

FOUR WORD PROMPTS — accepting

Inside Lush both of them somehow tried to avoid one another, so their paths wouldn’t quite cross and they could have their very own and distinct day without a trivial dispute. Yet the two of them were chosen to DJ at an event outside the club — as far as he knew, it was some new clothing brand’s launch party. Firstly Jiyong thought what kind of a big deal it was for anyone not to ask for a single DJ, who could doubtlessly handle the whole thing without the other’s help. Then he started to wonder what kind of bad karma it had to be that he was forced to cooperating with Seungri for the first time after high school, when they were paired up for a nonsense homework.

A day before the challenging party, the set list they had stated over a couple of emotionless texts and a few exchanged words at Lush was done. Almost done, for Jiyong. There was still something about the picked songs he wanted to fix and tweak. Normally he wouldn’t really give a damn about it as long as he was ensured of the amount of money that was supposed to land in his wallet, but around Seungri he felt as though he needed to prove that he wasn’t at all so careless.

Putting his hands down on the table, Jiyong stared at the piece of paper with the songs written down along with some comments here and there coming from both of them. Tapping his fingers restlessly, his attempts at coming up with an idea of what actually bothered him about the list were rather unsuccessful.

“Let’s do it all over again,” Ripping the paper in half, Seungri’s shout of an outrage of sorts only made him shrug his shoulders effortlessly. Glacing up at the male, he raised an eyebrow as a small smile curved his lips up. “What? Don’t tell me you’re afraid of taking up a new challenge.” He gave him a light pat on the back and chuckled ironically under his breath. “Together we can do this, can’t we?”

honestly, hyojung has realized that there are worse things than suddenly finding out you’re pregnant. there’s something that makes her clench her teeth so hard her gums start hurting; that subconsciously gets her to forget inhaling the very much needed air until her throat goes dry and her pupils dilate. something that makes her terrified and want to just keep it in, keep the secret, get an abortion and act like nothing has ever happened.

but she knows that she can’t keep seungri in the dark about this. he’s the father, after all; even if hyojung believes that the decision ultimately depends on her, and her only, he at least deserves to know. he should know that they’ve both made a mistake on that night when they were way too occupied and careless to think about safety and when it was practically a quick, dismissive wave of a hand that caused hyojung’s current situation. how stupid they had been, she thinks to herself with endless bitterness, but what’s past stays in the past, locked away from the desperate and regretful touches of her present self.

her courage was flushed down the toilet long ago, so she’s not even attempting at trying to reach for it and forcefully wiggle it back. she just needs to tell him; they’ve been close forever, so he wouldn’t kill her, would he? it’s not like it’s entirely her fault! no one can get pregnant without the cooperation of a male and hyojung is certainly no exception. they’re both just as much at fault as they’re in this together.

but how could she just tell him like that now that she has found out he might have had someone? someone who is in love with him, someone who deserves to have him all to himself and then hyojung thrusts herself into the picture, uninvited, and ruins everything. she knows that things are already standing on hesitant toes between the two of them (at least according to gg), so how could she make it worse?

yet; she knows she has to. and she hates herself because of it.

it’s so painfully obvious (to her) how forced the playfulness in these texts are; but she doesn’t want to let him know that something serious is about to spilled until it’s time. she knows he would come, but she’s worried that if she sounded too serious, he would immediately suspect something had gone wrong and hyojung wouldn’t want to do that to him.

he will have enough time to worry once he knows.
