It’s been so damn long since I’ve felt safe and seen in someone’s arms.
I feel like nobody around me understands the grief I feel for my broken dreams and the real worry that I won’t ever experience a love that doesn’t destroy me, or get to walk down the aisle in a beautiful white dress and feel complete. I’m not saying love is all there is to life, but it’s a big part of it and I wish I could experience a love that doesn’t hurt.
