Yuri fires off two successive shots quickly and he had the sense to use a silencer. Yet, for all that he is meant to be a professional, the standard for rapid shots is three, plus he missed both times. Sure, Kirishima blocked like he was supposed to, showing that his dedication to keeping Akihito alive is close/equal to his dedication to Asami. Even being an extension of Asami's order (make the exchange for Akihito and keep him safe) Kirishima really didn't hold back. Asami's mask begins to slip into what could be termed as "genuine emotion unveiled." I can't help feeling that if Yuri was good assassin he would have gone down to confirm the kills
It is alarming that Akihito is suddenly unconscious, so it seems Akihito bumped his head when Kirishima protected him from getting shot. the time lapse appears very short, which means that it was not a serious head injury. Waking up disoriented must be unsettlingly familiar; add to that bullet holes in bodies and splattered blood, and Akihito realizes that his hope for relief and Asami has been taken from him once more and the nightmare isn't over for him yet
