253 days...
today was the day that they lost the battle...
Opinion on gay marriage?
There are three things that can more or less sum up my personal opinion on GLBT marriage:
I am a Christian, and I believe the Bible to be true. Therefore, I do not think that "gay marriage" is something that will bring Christians closer to God. In other words, it is sin.
I have a deep respect for anyone who is "GLBT" because of what they go through in order to be such. Most Christians aren't even willing to stand up for who they are as much as GLBT people do. It's very humbling.
I never, ever, judge or condemn a GLBT individual. I am not God. I am human. I am no better than anyone else, and I have no place to decide who is in the wrong and who is not.
That being said, I think what I want to say the most is this: I do not think "gay marriage" is right, but I still love and respect people who do.
And remember, this is my opinion. I don't expect anyone to follow this way of thinking. In the end, we're all human and there isn't much you or I can do that will change that. No reason to fight about it.
